About Phia *

Phia Moore (Sophia Moore) is a singer-songwriter from Southern California. She began singing when she was 11, inspired by artists like Taylor Swift and Noah Cyrus. She began songwriting in 2020 when her mom signed her up for an online class at The Songwriting School of Los Angeles. The isolation of lockdown led songwriting to be Sophia's solace and passion through the pandemic to today.

Before songwriting, Phia had a deep love for singing. Introduced to Americana and Folk music at a young age, she was influenced by the heartbreaking stories and moving details in music. Her writing has been described as "It is almost as if she is standing behind a glass window that allows her audience to view her experiences while having the ability to reflect on their own." (PinkNoise Magazine).

Her cover, Over the Rainbow, inspired by the iconic IZ is featured in Apple TV+ Amber Brown, Season 1 Episode 3. She is also heard in Episode 10 of CTV's Sullivan's Crossing singing a cover of A Great Big World's and Christina Aguilera's, Say Something. Her first original single, Inside Joke, was released in October of 2022 and is a work she is proud to have out in the world. With the help of producer and songwriter Rob Seals, she was able to share her world with listeners.

Phia performs all around SoCal in the LA and orange County areas.

Having filled her fourth songwriting notebook, she looks forward to continuing her music journey. Follow her on Instagram to be the firdt to know about new releases and performances!
